Alana Cabel WIns All-Around Vocal Competition
Musical Expressions student Alana Cabel recently competed in her third American Guild of Music competition in Voice, Piano and Keyboard. Winning the All-Around Champion in Voice. Musical Expressions had its Summer Ensemble’s on June 8, 2008 at Fitzgerald’s in Berwyn and Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Spats Bar in Naperville. All bands did a great job and covered a variety of music from the 1960’s all the way to the present...
Musical Expressions guitar teacher Erik Haddad is composing a handful of instrumental kids music for a big music publisher. The music will be made available around the world for use in TV shows, film, commercials, etc.
Erik's original music is also being used in:
-a video game starring movie actor Vin Diesel! The game is slated
for release in 2009
-a medical film by Corporate Films Canada
-an enabling device for children
-a DVD on coping skills for individuals with disabilities
-dozens of websites, podcasts, audiobooks, corporate promotional videos, etc
