About Yee Seer See

Yee Seer began playing at age five, and started teaching at the Yamaha School of Music in Malaysia at 18. After several years, she traveled to London to teach and receive a piano performance diploma from Trinity College of Music.

Upon coming to the United States on scholarship, Yee Seer attended Northern Illinois University, where she earned her BA and Masters of Music in piano performance and pedagogy.

An active performer and accompanist in both Malaysia and the United States, Yee Seer has performed numerous concerts as a solo pianist and chamber ensemble member. She served as the official accompanist for several national vocal competitions in Malaysia, including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, and overseas vocal examination in Northern Malaysia.

In addition, Yee Seer is also an accomplished composer. In 1997, several of her works premiered at the Alpha Chi National Convention at Philadelphia.
She has more than 20 years of experience teaching beginners and advanced students of every age group and enjoys them all.
